Hoh Rainforest Visitor Center
Nestled deep within Olympic National Park, a small visitor center welcomes you to one of the largest temperate rainforests in the US. The immersive exhibit invites you to explore the "unseen" worlds of the Hoh. A large mural with tactile elements unveils what's above your head to below your feet. In the center of the space is an interactive table with various hands-on activities. Because  it is so remote, the exhibit was designed to be low tech and durable.
Sam designed all graphics within the exhibit while following National Park Service and ADA guidelines. She created small spot illustrations, and drew the original sketches that the illustrator used as guidance for the final painted mural.
