Plains High School Visitor Center
Jimmy Carter National Historical Park converted the high school Carter attended into a museum about his life. The exhibit keeps the school house motif while taking a deep dive into Carter's life, from childhood to post-presidency. Because it was a historic building, the exhibit was designed to make minimal holes in the walls or floor.
Sam developed the visual identity and graphic hierarchy, and designed over 150 graphics while following National Park Service and ADA guidelines. These include murals, rails, panels, tactile maps, a custom whiteboard, and more.
